It's a Red Chrysanthemum Vest without a collar. The yellow chrysanthemum Vest was designed with yellow chrysanthemum, a pattern of wallpaper from the Joseon Dynasty.

Patterns of Wallpaper in the Joseon Dynasty - Red chrysanthemum

Red chrysanthemum is the wallpaper of Seokbokheon in Changdeokgung Palace.

The wallpaper found in Seokbokheon has seven plant patterns and three complex patterns,

including animal patterns, indicating that there are many plant patterns.

Six of the seven plant patterns are chrysanthemums.One piece is peony.

The chrysanthemum means longevity and the beauty of the Bible.

Korean royal wallpaper

The origin of Korean wallpaper has not been revealed, but records of full-fledged wallpaper have been used by upper class and palaces since the reign of King Yeongjo and King Jeongjo.

If you look at the pictures taken in the early 20th century of the Injeongjeon Hall

and the reproduction of Changdeokgung Palace Daejojeon Hall,

You can see that royal wallpaper with colorful patterns was used for interior decoration at that time.

During the Joseon Dynasty, the decoration and symbolism

of the wallpaper were considered more important in accordance with the laws of the palace.

Therefore, depending on the user's status, patterns containing symbols such as dragons, phoenixes,

and letters were used, and the characteristics of the patterns used were also different.

Recycle Cotton is a fabric that combines recycled polyester and

organic cotton containing 11 plastic PET bottles.

Unlike conventional polyester yarn, which produces petroleum as raw materials, it is made of eco-friendly yarn extracted by making chips with plastic bottles with lids and labels removed.

It is a good fabric that dramatically reduces resources, energy consumption, and carbon dioxide emissions during the process, turns plastic bottles just before being buried underground into recycled fibers, and greatly reduces the amount of plastic landfill to minimize environmental problems.
